Venturing is a youth-led program all about building adventures with your friends. Choose to do activities that matter to you and develop essential skills like leadership, event-planning, organization, communication, and responsibility while having a blast!
ADVENTURE
Venturing is all about embracing adventure and exploring the unknown. From outdoor expeditions to cultural experiences, Venturers engage in thrilling activities that challenge them, promote teamwork, and create lifelong memories. Adventure is a core part of the Venturing program, helping youth develop a sense of wonder, awe, and curiosity.
LEADERSHIP
In Venturing, youth take ownership of their leadership development, guiding their crews and fellow members. They cultivate essential skills like communication, problem-solving, and decision-making. Through leadership, Venturers become confident, capable, and influential individuals.
SERVICE
Venturing’s focus on service encourages youth to make a positive impact in their communities. By participating in service projects, Venturers develop empathy, learn to work together, and become active citizens. Service projects can range from conservation efforts to supporting local food banks.
PERSONAL GROWTH
The Venturing program fosters personal growth by encouraging youth to explore their interests, values, and passions. Venturers set and achieve goals, develop self-reliance, and learn to overcome obstacles. This focus on personal growth helps Venturers become resilient, adaptable, and well-rounded individuals.
