An Investment in the Leaders of Tomorrow

The Pacific Crest Council is dedicated to providing high-quality Scouting programs to youth in our community. However, we cannot do it alone. We rely on the support of generous donors like you to help us deliver the Scouting experience to over 2,300 youth in our area.

The Cost of Scouting

It costs approximately $240 per year for the council to provide one Scout with the resources needed for quality programs with trained leadership. This investment helps us provide:

  • Scholarship Funds: Ensuring no child is turned away due to financial constraints
  • Program Support: Delivering value-based leadership programs for girls and boys from kindergarten through 12th grade
  • Training and Mentorship: Empowering adult leaders with the skills and knowledge needed to mentor our youth
  • Camp Maintenance: Preserving our camps and facilities for future generations
  • Resident Camp Programs: Offering unforgettable experiences for Cubs, Scouts, and families
  • Year-Round Support: Providing guidance to units, mobilizing volunteers, and inviting new families to join Scouting

Give to the Spirit of Scouting!

Your donation to Friends of Scouting helps us continue to provide a world-class Scouting experience for our youth. Give because:

  • You believe in the program and its impact on our community
  • Scouting made a difference in your life, and you want to pay it forward
  • Every dollar raised improves the Scouting adventure for every Scout
  • You want to support those who cannot afford Scouting without a scholarship

Recognition of Your Support

Donors who contribute $240 or more will receive a commemorative Friends of Scouting patch, symbolizing your commitment to the Scouting program.
