Activities will include:
- Klondike Sled Races: A classic test of strength, speed, and teamwork.
- Winter First Aid: Essential skills for managing cold-weather emergencies.
- Fire Building: Mastering the art of starting a fire in snowy conditions.
- Ice Rescue: Learning critical safety and rescue techniques.
- Compass Course: Navigating the winter landscape.
- …and many more challenging winter Scout skills!
The weekend will conclude with a lively campfire and an awards ceremony to recognize the top-performing patrols and units.
Adult Program
Snowando isn’t just for the youth! We offer a fun, parallel program for attending Adult Leaders:
- Winter Training Opportunities: Participate in useful training sessions designed for adult leaders.
- Dutch Oven Competition: Show off your culinary skills and compete for bragging rights!
Staffing Opportunity
We need enthusiastic volunteers to help run the stations and ensure the event is a success!
Saturday lunch will be provided for all registered staff members.
