Service is at the heart of everything we do in Scouting. Each time a Scout lends a hand, supports a neighbor, or steps up in their community, they are living the promise “to help other people at all times.” It’s not always about big projects—often it’s the quiet, everyday acts of kindness that make the greatest difference.
When we say “a Scout is helpful,” we’re reminded that service is not occasional—it’s a mindset. It’s choosing to notice where help is needed and taking action without being asked. Across our council, we see this come to life in countless ways, and it’s shaping young people into leaders of character and compassion.
Thank you for continuing to support and encourage a culture where helping others isn’t just something we do—it’s who we are.
