The Pacific Crest Council Scout Shops are excited to announce the return of the Holiday Giving Tree program, running from November 6 through December 16, 2026. This initiative provides a wonderful opportunity for our Scouting community to support local Scout members who may need assistance with uniforms and other essential items.
How the Program Works
The Giving Tree Display: Starting November 6, a Holiday Giving Tree (similar to an Angel tree) will be set up at our Scout Shops, featuring special Holiday Giving cards.
Card Details: Each card lists a Scout’s first name, the specific uniform items they need, and optional items they might want—such as handbooks, crafts, or camping gear.
Making a Donation: Customers and supporters can select a card, purchase the requested item(s) right at their local Scout Shop, and hand them over to the store staff for collection.
Complete Confidentiality: Scout identities remain strictly confidential. Only store staff have access to the names, tracking the donations securely using a confidential code system to notify leaders when items are ready for pickup.
How Leaders Can Participate
If you have Scouts in your troop or pack who would benefit from this program, please submit their information by December 5, 2026, to your closest store or via email.
