Every day across the Pacific Crest Council, lives are being changed through Scouting.
Sometimes those changes are easy to see—a Cub Scout learning to ride a bike with confidence, a Scouts BSA member earning the rank of Eagle Scout, or a Venturer leading a service project that strengthens their community. Other times, the impact is quieter but just as profound. A young person discovers they belong. A shy Scout finds their voice. A family creates memories around a campfire that will last a lifetime.
Scouting is far more than camping, hiking, or earning badges. It is about building character, developing leadership, serving others, and preparing young people to make ethical and moral choices throughout their lives. The lessons learned in a Scout meeting, on a trail, or during a week at summer camp often become the foundation for success in school, careers, families, and communities.
None of this happens by accident. It happens because dedicated volunteers, generous donors, committed chartered partners, and supportive families invest their time, talents, and resources to create these life-changing opportunities.
As we look toward the future, we remain committed to ensuring that every young person who wants to experience Scouting has that opportunity. Together, we are not simply growing our membership—we are growing tomorrow’s leaders, neighbors, and citizens.
Thank you for being part of this remarkable movement. Because of you, Scouting continues to change lives—one young person, one family, and one community at a time.
